¿Cómo saludar en Inglés?

Como en todo idioma, es importante saber saludar. Así que veamos algunos saludos básicos:

Hello! (Hola!)
Hi! (más informal que el "hola")

How are you? (¿Cómo estás? ... generalmente la respuesta es I'm fine: "estoy bien")

Good morning! (Buen día)
Good afternoon! (Buenas tardes)
Good evening! (Buenas noches)

Good night! (Buenas noches, pero sólo si te vas a dormir o no vas a volver a ver a nadie hasta el día siguiente).

Nice to meet you (Un gusto conocerlo. Se utiliza cuando te presentan a alguien).

See you soon! (Nos vemos pronto)
Bye bye! (Hasta luego)
Good bye! (Adiós)

DIALOGO 1:

Veamos un diálogo sencillo que involucran saludos.

Lily: -Good morning, Steve! How are you?
Steve: -Hello, Lily! I'm fine!

Lily:  -See you soon, Steve!
Steve: - See you soon, Lily. Bye bye!

DIALOGO 2:

Veamos otro diálogo sencillo donde también se presenta a un tercero.

Lily: -Hello, Steve! How are you?
Steve: -Hello, Lily! I'm fine!
Lily: - Steve, this is my friend Alice. Alice, this is my friend Steve.

Steve: - Nice to meet you, Alice.
Alice: - Nice to meet you too, Steve.
